Sungwoo
Hello I am Sungwoo Lee! I am from Semyung University, which is located in Jecheon. There are international students from various countries in my university. Apart from Chinese students, there are also Japanese, Thai and Hungarian. Jecheon is a 2 hours from Seoul. The city is quieter and more peaceful than Seoul, yet is near it so you can get to experience the busy city life within a short drive if you like. However, our city gets really cold in in the winter!
In my free time, I enjoy travelling. I have been to many places in Korea, and am looking forward to travelling the world. I usually travel alone, and while it can get difficult and lonely, it allows me to get to know other travelers.
For my exchange, I studied in University Malaysia Sabah(UMS), located in Kota Kinabalu, a global vacation location. UMS is quite big and has about 50, 000 students. One of the reasons I really enjoyed my time in UMS is because of the kind and friendly students. When things were difficult for me there, the students willingly helped me with a smile on their face. I am so grateful for them, and we still do keep in touch! Thus, I hope to be able to help other exchange students as well!
