Edit Guide Travel Insurance
A certified Travel and Health insurance will be required for the application of a residence permit (for exchange studies, the medical expenses coverage must be at least 100,000 euros). In your acceptance package, the types of health insurance pre-approved for Finnish residence permits will be stated.

STA Travel Insurance
Please note that the STA travel insurance does not provide sufficient medical coverage to fulfill the Finnish embassy’s requirement.
