Travel Insurance

PolyU’s Exchange students are expected to arrange for their own insurance in their home country. PolyU mandates that students submit a copy of their insurance policy with its terms and conditions clearly stated. More information here

For PolyU’s registered Full-Time Undergraduate students, PolyU acquires annual Group Personal Accident Insurance Policy that covers accidental death, permanent total disability and accidental medical expenses from University-related activities. All relevant information can be found in the handbook for non-local research students.

AIG (includes Chartis) is the most popular insurance company amongst students who had gone to Hong Kong for their international studies, and is closely followed by NTUC.
