If your length of stay in Norway exceeds 90 days, it may be necessary for you to obtain a visa for the duration of your study. As Norway is one of the parties to the Schengen Area, a Schengen Area visa will be required.

Generally, proof of flight tickets and accommodation for the duration of your stay are required for you to obtain a visa. Visa application can take a few weeks; hence you should apply as early as possible. You can find out more information on visa application from this website.

Studying at NHH was a great experience - the university is very flexible in allocation of courses, and we could take Master level courses although we were Bachelor students in our home university. This increased the number of relevant courses for the students. The mentors involved in Welcome Week are very friendly and helpful, and will be there to answer any questions you may have throughout the semester. During the examination period, to help students de-stress, 2 dogs are brought to NHH. With a group of friends, it is possible to sign up for some cuddles at the Furry Friends event! I stayed at the Hatleberg dormitory accommodation, and it was very clean, safe and well-furnished. In Hatleberg, the kitchen is shared by 7 people, and is well-stocked with the necessary utensils, kettle, toasters and other kitchen appliances. Laundry can be done in the hostel as well.
