PNU is located in Busan. Busan really attractive city in Korea. It is the most active and warmhearted city in Korea. Actaully PNU is located near down town. I think the location is very good because if you like to go play in energetic place, you can go down town easily just take the subway. If you like some quite place, you can just go around PNU, beacause there are many trail, parks near PNU.
Also there are so many opiton in eating or drinking. Near PNU, there are so many good place to eat or drink. It is very fun to find some place which is not famous but really good for me, it means some kind of hidden place for me. If you want to know about place to eat or drinking just message to me. I really want to share my place with you guys especially about drinking :)
When you come to PNU, first time you will be embarrased because the tone of voice of Busan people is somewhat powerful so you can misunderstand that the people get upset. But never mind they are just talking. If you try to approach to them they will be kind to you so don't hesitate to approach to them.

Upon arrival in Korea, boy were we surprised when the greatest cultural difference hit us. Unlike in Singapore, that has eateries located in almost every corner of the neighborhood, there were many shops selling cosmetics almost everywhere in Korea!
Our buddies were extremely welcoming and eventually became our “advisors”. Not only did our buddies pick us up from the airport to the accommodation, my buddy also helped me apply for the courses that I was interested in as well as provided advice on car rental. What more can I ask for!

I chose Korea for my exchange due to my interest in its long history, culture, tradition, people as well as the “K-wave” phenomenon that is happening even up to today. On top of that, I am always driven to be independent, to plan my own trips and get out of my comfort bubble, my home, Singapore.
In essence, I wanted to experience life on my own with everything under my control while picking up a third language and I thought this would be the best time for me to do so aiding my career searching at the same time.
After the time “alone” in Korea, my aims were met! I managed to pick up a third language, forge lasting friendships with the locals and learned how some things can be done while not the other. I have also learned that we should not take things for granted and cherish the wonderful moments in life such as how Singapore is a great city to live in. Furthermore, there are many people living in poverty that were reinforced from this exchange It made me want to quickly do my part in giving back to the society.

PNU is one of the best learning places in Korea. It is nature friendly place since it is located in a mountain. Especially during the spring and autumn season, the landscape is awesome. Furthermore, there are lots of great restaurants just in front of school, you cannot finish them if you stay here only for one semester. Staying and studying in PNU must be one of the best experiences in your university life.
