Types of accommodation at the Student Village

You can choose from staying at single studio apartments, en-suite or standard room with shared facilities. There is an accommodation for any kind of budget.

Staying at the Student Village is easy, as the all-inclusive rent covers all your bills, insurance and so much more. There are also designated quiet areas for all postgrad and mature students.

Postgraduate and mature student facilities

The facilities available to postgraduate and mature students are very nice and clean. They are maintained with high standards with single study room, WIFI, 24-hour security, support and laundry, and conveniently located in the main campus. The drawback is the shared kitchen, shared bathroom and its high cost. For more information, click here

Private rental accommodation

A number of students, especially those with families, prefer to live in private rental accommodation close to the university. Please note that this can take time to arrange as it may be difficult find a suitable apartment before you enter the UK. Landlords often require references and a substantial deposit. I studied at the University of Bedfordshire from 2012 to 2016. And when I think about the time I spent there, it brings back memories of the amazing 4 years journey I had getting to know people and pursing my studies. First of all, I gotta say that the teaching staff is quite helpful and friendly. The campus itself is magnificent and huge with multiple libraries to accommodate the students according to their needs. The university is located in the middle of town; so getting to places such as the shopping mall, cinema and gym is at a walking distance. Due to the university and the international students, the town is quite multicultural. Therefore all sorts of restaurants and takeaways are available all over the town. I would definitely recommend this university. I hope you have an experience as great as I did in case you choose to join it :)

I pursued my post graduate studies at University of Bedfordshire, luton. The university campus is cool and the library is accessible 24 hours. Although student accommodation is available, Me and my friends rented house outside the campus and it was fun experiencing and sorting out our own bills. The luton town has a local airport, asian & western restaurants, shopping mall, grocery market and so many. I enjoyed my time mostly by spending in cinemas which is unlimited for the members. I travel to London on my weekend and it's only 30 min away by train. The weather is cold and we get a short summer there. Possibilities of seeing snow during winter! It was a great time that i had and I recommend this uni :D
