Off-Campus Peer Support Accommodation (OPSA)

Apartments/Room Rentals
With Hong Kong being one of the most densely populated places in the World, it comes with no surprise that any rooms that you rent are likely to be much smaller in size relative to the price paid as compared to most other countries.
CityU provides students with a lot of help to search for off-campus accommodations. Visit the off-campus accommodation page on the SRO website here for more information on short-term accommodation options, private properties and even serviced apartments.
Off-campus accommodation tends to be slightly more expensive than on-campus halls and can range from HK$ 6,000 to over HK$ 15,000 per month, depending on type of room or location. However, some of them do offers special packages for CityU students.
Flying Chalks’ tip:
If you are planning to stay off-campus, do start your search as early as possible to avoid disappointment. You can also contact the SRO at sro.offcampus@cityu.edu.hk for assistance.
