This January, we had the pleasure of hosting a Chinese family for our Singapore Education Planning & Campus Tour Program. The program was thoughtfully designed to provide them with a comprehensive understanding of the Singapore education system, while also giving them a firsthand look at some of the top international schools.

This program was held over two days. On the first day, we began with an in-depth education planning session at our office. We introduced the family to the various educational pathways available in Singapore, including government, international and private school options. Each pathway was discussed in terms of its structure, entry requirements, academic focus, and long-term outcomes. For instance, while government schools offer a more affordable option and local experience, they often require higher English proficiency and have fixed intake periods. In contrast, international schools provide greater flexibility in admissions and curriculum choices, along with more robust English language support, but at a higher tuition cost.

The second day of the program was dedicated to campus visits. We arranged private tours of two prestigious international schools: the Australian International School (AIS) and the Canadian International School (CIS). These visits allowed the family to explore the campuses, interact with school staff, and gain a deeper understanding of the learning environment and student life.

While this particular program was a privately arranged, two-day tour tailored for a single family, Flying Chalks also regularly organizes larger-scale study tours for schools, educational institutions, and organizations.
