This January, Flying Chalks had the pleasure of welcoming a group of 12 students and teachers from China for our Singapore Education & Campus Tour Program. This 5-day program organised by Flying Chalks, in partnership with PSB Academy, offered a unique and comprehensive insight into the Singaporean study experience. 

During this educational program, we toured students around various university campuses including Singapore Management University, PSB Academy, Curtin University and the National University of Singapore, where our participants learned more about what each school has to offer in terms of the programs, pathways, facilities, student life and more! Participants also gained a deeper understanding of the admission requirements and how Flying Chalks can assist them in applying to these schools. 

Listed below is a brief glimpse of the activities we offered throughout this multi-faceted experience:

Learning Never Stops!

Throughout the program, the group participated in daily English classes each morning at PSB Academy - one of Singapore’s leading private educational institutions. At PSB Academy, students can pursue a Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor's or Master's Degree where its tertiary-level programs are offered in partnership with renowned universities in Australia, the US and UK.

After the morning classes, we headed off to tour some of Singapore's most prestigious universities including Curtin University, Singapore Management University and the National University of Singapore. Globally ranked amongst the top 1% of world ranking universities, our participants had the opportunity to witness each school's learning environment and state of the art facilities, thereby raising the academic aspirations of these future leaders!

History & Cultural Immersion

Part of the program was also dedicated to increasing our participants' global exposure and cultural sensitivity. One of the many activities we offered included a visit to the National Museum of Singapore. Opened in 1887, the National Museum of Singapore is the country’s oldest museum containing over 700 years of history. This enriching experience provided our participants with a deep understanding of Singapore’s diverse cultures and the historical events which led to the development of the country.

Sightseeing & Recreational Activities!

Balancing learning with leisure, we provided a variety of recreational activities to ensure an enjoyable and memorable stay in Singapore. Participants were brought to world-renowned attractions such as the Gardens by the Bay and Marina Bay.

The program ended with a visit to Sentosa Island where our participants enjoyed a jam-packed day at Universal Studios!
